Red Hat Joins Hands with Partners to Co-host 2016 China Open Source Enterprise Storage Forum

On August 5, 2016, Red Hat partners with Intel, Quanta Cloud Technology and ZDNet to co-host 2016 China Open Source Enterprise Storage Forum themed as “Openness. Convergence. Open Source Opens up a New Storage World” with the purpose of enabling the industry to better understand the competitive advantages of open source storage, and discussing how to utilize open source technology across the enterprises to improve and optimize the storage system.


To better leverage Red Hat sponsored event for in-depth media exposure, Instinctif Partners took charge of the overall media communications for the event and arranged 3 media group interviews with Red Hat speakers and partners on the event day. The first group interview was arranged for Mr. Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen, Senior Vice President & GM Asia Pacific & Japan at Red Hat and Dr. Sen Ming Chang, President, Greater China, Red Hat, to give them an overall introduction of Red Hat’s business strategies in APAC, and Red Hat’s value in helping traditional organizations to transform their IT and businesses models. The second group interview was arranged for Dr. Sen Ming Chang at Red Hat and Gary Lee, Associate VP of QCT, highlighting the significance of deepening global overall strategic partnership of the two parties. The third group interview was organized for Andrew Hatfield, Red Hat APAC Cloud Storage and Big Data Business Development Manager and Chris Mawer, Red Hat APAC Storage Business Unit Manager to meet with China’s 7 top vertical publications, giving them a briefing of the interesting topics including disruption in the storage market and rise of the Ceph architecture, and Red Hat Gluster storage in terms of strategic direction, roadmap and integrations.
